The workshop will be held on October 18th-19th, 2012, at the Royal Military Academy, Brussels, Belgium.

Since Brussels is a very international city, most citizens will be able to help you in English.


The Royal Military Academy is situated next to the Parc du Cinquantenaire and close to the European institutions (place Schuman).

How to get to Brussels?

By plane

Brussels Airport (Zaventem) is the largest airport in Belgium. Most international flights arrive here. From Brussels Airport you can reach the venue with the airport line, stop at Schuman and then walk.

Other airports in Belgium are Brussels South – Charleroi Airport (here many cheap airlines arrive like Ryanair. Easiest way is to take the bus from Charleroi to Brussels South station and then take the metro (see below).

By train
When you come from London, Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne or other city also consider to come with an international train or the high speed train (TGV or Eurostar).
The high speed trains arrive in Brussels South (in French: Bruxelles Midi, in Dutch: Brussel Zuidstation). Then take the Metro (follow blue “M”) lines 2 or 6 (Direction Simonis-Elisabeth) until Fr:Arts-Loi, Du: Kunst-Wet. Change their to metro line 1 or 5 direction Herman-Debroux or Stockel). Exit at Schuman or Merode and walk.

When arriving by international train stop in Brussels Central station. Then take the Metro (follow blue “M”)  line 1 or 5 direction Herman-Debroux or Stockel). Exit at Schuman or Merode and walk.

By car

It is very difficult to park your car in the neighbourhood or inside the Academy. We encourage you to join the Academy by public transportation.
